Practical Information
Full practical details are sent to participants. Once your registration is confirmed we email you everything you need for your stay — directions, recommended places to stay, and where to eat near each venue.
Getting there
Travel
Athens is served by Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” (ATH), with direct connections to most European cities and good metro, bus and taxi links into the city.
Delphi lies north-west of Athens and is reached by car or intercity coach. Detailed directions, journey times and shared-transport options are sent to everyone who registers.
Where to stay
Accommodation
Accommodation is not included in the registration. Participants arrange their own stay in both Athens and Delphi.
Recommended places to stay near each venue are sent to everyone who registers.
During the day
Meals
Meals are not included in the registration. There are cafés, tavernas and shops close to both venues.
Suggestions for places to eat near each venue, including vegetarian and vegan options, are sent to everyone who registers.
On the day
What to bring
Comfortable clothing is recommended. Meditation cushions and chairs will be available at the venue, although you are welcome to bring your own cushion if you prefer. A notebook is useful for the teaching sessions.
Understanding the teachings
Language & translation
All teachings and practice sessions are given in English with live Greek translation throughout the event. No prior knowledge of Buddhist terminology is assumed — terms are explained as they arise.
Taking part
Fees & registration
Fees are charged per session, from €20, with discounted passes for those attending several days. Two sessions are free of charge.
Not included in the fee
- The entrance ticket to the Delphi Archaeological Site
- Transport to the Corycian Cave
Payment methods are being set up and will be available before registrations are confirmed.

Accessibility & questions
